Hello friend!

I’m a self-taught artist who works in pastels to create landscapes that capture the magic I see in the world. Born and raised in Colorado, I have a deep connection with the wide-open skies, craggy peaks, windswept plains, and dense forests of the West. I spend my time exploring the outdoors, always with an eye for capturing the feeling of the places I visit, to share the experience of being surrounded and awed by Earth’s beauty through my art.

I’m a trained engineer with a BS in Civil Engineering from Colorado School of Mines. Despite my practical background, I’ve felt a lifelong urge to be creative. Working first in video game design and digital art and then acrylics, I made the switch to pastels in 2024. I was surprised to instantly fall in love with them. The intentionality they require plays to the exactness I’ve honed through years as an engineer, while their vibrancy enables me to capture the brightness and color I see in life, despite its flaws. I look forward to further developing my skills, pushing the boundaries of landscape as a genre, and inspiring others to appreciate life.

Commissions are currently OPEN.

Interested in a custom piece? I’m excited to bring your vision to life through a commissioned work! To get started, please include the following details in your inquiry:

  1. Subject or Theme – What would you like the piece to focus on (landscape, personal memory, etc.)? As a basis for completing commissioned work, I need a reference photo you are happy with. While I take artistic liberties to adjust or collage reference photos as needed, I still try to capture the essence of my reference material.

  2. Dimensions – Preferred size of the artwork. I am offering 5x7, 9x12, and 11x14 sizes. For custom sizing, please let me know and I may or may not be able to fulfill your order.

  3. Color Palette – Any specific colors you'd like incorporated.

  4. Deadline – If you have a timeline in mind for when you'd like the piece completed.

Feel free to share any additional thoughts and up to three (3) reference photos below. I look forward to creating something special just for you!
